各位下学期继续学习汉语的留学生同学：

现将2017年寒假安排及2017年春季学期返校报到时间告知如下：

1.寒假起止日期是2017年1月7日至2月26日，3月6日正式开始上课。

2.已经注册学习一年的语言生请于2017年2月27日至3月3日到留学生事务办公室报到注册并领取新学期日程表。不能按时完成报到的，需提前请假。奖学金生如未经请假，连续两周或以上（3月6日-3月17日）未参加教学活动且未完成报到注册的将停发生活费。

3.希望延长学习期限自费语言生请于2017年1月15日前，携带学生证或护照到留学生事务办公室，向辅导员提出申请。缴纳下学期的学费、保险费后可办理学习类居留许可或X2签证。不能在此日期前完成手续的，应重新报名并缴纳报名费。

a)持X2签证者可以按以下方法申请学习类居留许可证：

①健康检查（需网上预约完成体检4个工作日后可领取报告）—>②凭辅导员开具的付费清单到财务办公室缴纳学费—>③携带护照、《境外人员临时住宿登记单》及1张二寸照片，到留学生事务办公室缴纳保险费，领取居留许可申请材料—>④到上海市出入境管理局申请居留许可（需7个工作日）

持X2签证者也可以回国重新申请X2签证，请向辅导员咨询申请材料。

b)持学习类居留许可者可以按以下方法延长居留许可证：

①凭辅导员开具的付费清单到财务办公室缴纳学费—>②携带护照、《境外人员临时住宿登记单》及1张二寸照片，到留学生事务办公室缴纳保险费，领取延长居留许可申请材料—>③到上海市出入境管理局延长居留许可（需7个工作日）

Notice onRegistration for the Coming Semester and Self-support Student Study Duration Extension

Toall the continuing Chinese language students,

We hereby inform you the winter holiday timetable and registration date for 2017 spring semester as follows:

1. Winter holiday starts from January 7^th, ends at February 26^th, 2017.The coming semester class begins on March 6^th, 2017.

2. Continuing student should register for 2017 spring semester and receive the new calendarat International Student Affairs Office form February 27^thto March 3^rd.You should ask for leave in advance if you are not able to register on time. Any scholarship student who failed to register on time and is absent from class for two weeks or above(from March 6^thto March 17^th)without asking for leave, his/her scholarship will be suspended immediately.

3. Self-support student who wish to continue study in the coming semester,should apply for study duration extension before January 15^th, 2016.Please enroll atInternational Student Affairs Office with your passport or student ID.You should pay tuition fee and insurance fee beforeapply for or extend the study visa or residence permit.If you failed to enroll before the deadline, you have to reapply as a new student and pay the application fee again.

a) X2-visa holdersmay apply for study type residence permit following the procedure as:

①Take a physical examination(Need to reserve online. It takes 4 working days to get the health certificate)—>②Pay tuition fees at Financial Office with payment list offered by yourcounselor—>③Bring passport, RegistrationForm of Temporary Residence ,one 2-inch photo and health certificate to International Student Affairs Office,pay for insurance and get residence permit application materials.—>④Apply for a student residence permit(It takes 7workingdays.)

X2-visa holder may also reapply for X2-visa from home country with visa application documents issued by CIE. Please consult the counselor.

b)Study type residence permitholdersmay extend the residence permitfollowing the procedure as:

①Pay tuition fees at Financial Office with payment list offered by yourcounselor—>②Bring passport, Registration Form of Temporary Residence and one 2-inch photo to International Student Affairs Office, pay for insurance and get residence permitextensionmaterials.—>③Extend residence permit (It takes 7 working days.)
